Last tuesday, I had planned on asking a really cute Junior girl out, and I would do so by giving her a picture of the two of us and a Sonic plushie. My friends were all excited to see me do it and some were even fricken VIDEOTAPING the whole thing, so there was no possible way I could bail on that chance. It could have been the only chance I had to hang out with this girl. But I then realized that things were going to be rough for me over the next few months once everybody found out about this whole thing. But then I thought "Who cares? It's not that big a deal!"

So I gave her the plushie and the picture and she loved them both, and when I asked her out, she paused for a minute and asked me if we could talk about it after school. I told her that it was okay to talk after school and sat back down with my friends, who were now turning their cameras off and clapping idiotically. However, I started to get a bad feeling about what the girl was going to say. But it wouldn't matter to me anyway, because I'm basically used to being rejected.

Boy was I wrong that day - at the very end of the day, the girl that I asked out came up to me, saying that she would like to hang out with me but we were only hanging out as friends. I didn't start freaking out until the very minute that I got home that day - I was so happy that I started literally started jumping up and down while cheering loudly and calling each of my friends to tell them that the girl said yes. We're gonna hang out together the day before Christmas Break, because we have a Christmas Banquet that day and I'm taking her to it...
